KENDRICK DOWDY - CEO

A graduate of North Carolina A&T with a bachelors degree in Marketing and a masters degree from Georgetown University majoring in Sports Industry Management. During his time at A&T, he was a member of the organization, Future Business Leaders of America and volunteered as a youth counselor at the Greensboro YMCA. After graduating Kendrick went on to work in sales and marketing but wanted to find a way to give back to his community through the game of basketball and started 4 Quarters Basketball and Life Skills Camp. The goal is to ensure youth athletes are excelling on and off the court while also building a brotherhood and mentorship with the youth of the same community Kendrick grew up in. ​ After graduating from Georgetown, Kendrick began working for Turner Broadcasting with Inside the NBA and has made many connections inside the sports industry. These connections allow Kendrick to expand 4 Quarters each year with new ideas and sponsors for the camp. Kendrick marries his outstanding leadership abilities with his passion for both basketball and for mentoring youth.

PERCY CALDWELL - COO

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. While attending UNCW he became an Eagle Scout and was an active member of UNCW's Intramural Sports Program. Upon graduation Percy accepted a job with Belden, a company that manufactures communications infrastructure products. Belden moved him to Richmond. Indiana to officially begin his career. After successfully completing various roles in the company, he was moved to Redondo Beach, CA, where he currently resides and is a Global Strategic Account Manager for the company. One of Percy's goals is to open up a community center once he is well established. Percy feels that every kid deserves the same opportunity he has experienced and a community center as well as 4 Quarters Basketball and life skills camp can help kids succeed.

LAROY DUBOIS - CFO

A native of North Carolina and graduate of James Benson Dudley High. After high school he attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering. While attending NC A&T he became a member of AmeriCorps Division of Black Child Development completing more than 900 community service hours within in a year. Also while in attendance he was an active member of NC A&T Intramural Sports Program. Upon graduation LaRoy accepted a job with Acuity Brands, a company that leads the nation in lighting manufacturing products. With the extensive travel demands of his job he quickly gained an appreciation and understanding of the importance of giving back and building within the community. During his youth he was fortunate to be a part of NYSP and saw the deep impact it had within the Greensboro community. LaRoy understands the impact and staple 4 Quarters has in the community and its ability to touch a multitude of lives and is extremely excited to be a part of this dynamic team.

JUSTIN WATTS - Lead Forward Coach

Graduated from Charles E. Jordan where he was the Pac-6 Conference Player of the Year, District 6 Player of the Year, and three-time all-conference selection. He took his basketball talents to UNC and in 2009 was a part of the National Championship team. Justin is in his Fifth year professionally having played in Australia, Latin America, Japan, Uruguay and Holland. After he has completed his playing career he hopes to become a physical therapist assisting athletes as well as many others.

DARRYL "DJ" COWAN, JR. - Shooting Coach

A graduate of Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro NC. While attending Eastern Wayne DJ was selected for the Eastern Carolina 3A All Conference First Team. In the 2006-2007 school year, DJ was ranked as the #9 point guard in the state of North Carolina according to Scout.com. Upon earning his high school diploma, DJ then attended Charis Prep where he helped the Crimson Tide achieve a 44-4 record and a National Prep Championship. Following his remarkable year at Charis Prep, he received a scholarship offer from Norfolk State University. After one year at Norfolk State, DJ decided to withdrawal from school and honor his country by joining the United States Army. During his tenure in the Army he was selected to play on the All Army Basketball Team. Currently, DJ is working as a Facility Containment Officer at Duke University.

BOBBY WHITE JR. II - Guard Coach

A graduate of Hunt High School in Wilson NC, where he was selected for Big East 3-A all conference and All Area 1st team. He played 2 years at Johnston Community College where he led the Nation in assist - with an impressive 10 assist per game - during the 2009 – 2010 season. Bobby is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering. He currently works for Bell Partners as an Infrastructure Technician.

STEPHEN CLARKE - Health / Fitness Coach

A native of North Carolina and graduate of Charles E. Jordan High School. Steve went on to further his education at North Carolina A&T and Phoenix College in Marketing & Sports Management. His philanthropic work includes: Autism Assistance, Big Brother/Big Sister, and Habitat for Humanity. Steve is the General Manager at Club One in Charlotte, NC and the Manager at Sports One in Charlotte as well, two nightlife based venues. As the Health Coach for 4 Quarters, it is his mission to help student athletes get healthy and remain healthy while also being physically fit.

ANTHONY LEATHERS - Camp Accountant

A graduate of Charles E. Jordan High School. While attending Jordan he played 3 years of Varsity Football. In addition to playing football, he also held a position at Harris Teeter as an Assistant Store Accountant. Anthony is currently pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and his ultimate goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Anthony is the oldest of 8 children and is very passionate about the success of the youth.
